The Impact of General Anxiety Disorder

Panic and anxiety attacks have many scholarly literature and vast explanations because a lot of people have been suffering from it. A lot of those suffering from such a condition have been experiencing anxiety attacks for years because they are not able to cure the underlying problems that cause anxiety. As most of us know, anxiety does not develop immediately but rather, it is a result of accumulated emotional problems that we have.

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that if we run away from our anxieties, we are only making it worse. According to him, we need to face our fears because everything is uncertain and we can become victims of circumstance if we choose to be, just as we can be free of such problems if we decide to do so.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder, GAD, is what causes anxiety attacks. It is something that can make the condition worse, as it is just lurking in the background waiting to come out as soon as people start to worry and feel afraid. So to stop anxiety attacks, we need to address GAD and see what can be done to fix it. In any ordinary day, the average person living in the city would have a stress level of 5, in a scale of 1 to 10. Those who experience panic attacks or anxiety attacks reach up to 9, whereas those who feel GAD have a scale of 6 or 7. These are people who frequently experience panic attacks. They wake up in the morning and they already have symptoms of an attack, making them irritable and tense. People experiencing GAD will often find themselves not feeling well physically, and they are often anxious and uncomfortable. GAD makes life very difficult for most people and we should really do what we can to overcome it.

The common symptoms of GAD are: dizziness, feeling of tiredness, loss of vision, cramps and depression. They are closely related to symptoms of a panic attack.

If you have GAD, it is important for you to understand that this is completely treatable. It does not have to stay with you forever, you can cure it! Unless you know this and fully accept this, you will not be able to help yourself at all. It starts with the mind, you see. If you can tell yourself that you can do something to get rid of GAD and really believe it in your heart that you can, then you are in the first step to treating this condition.

Remember that GAD is a habitual condition that will never stop unless you look at the root of the problem and find a way to take them out of your life. There are many ways you can make this possible. Most of them are meditation activities, introspection and self talk. Whatever technique you choose, it is important that you do it consistently so you can really see the results. If you do it for a week and stop the next week, you can never attain the outcome that you want. It just does not work that way. Change and treatment needs a lot of effort on your part so you need to be ready for it.

You may also look into the One Move Technique to remove panic attacks. This process is very effective and can definitely break anxiety and prevent it from coming back into your life for as long as you want. When you can rid yourself of panic attacks, you will gradually overcome General Anxiety Disorder and you can continue to live life as you have always wanted. Remember that only YOU can make changes in yourself.
